Join us for our annual luncheon and business meeting on Sunday, April 7, 2019.  We will be meeting in the Common Room at Third Haven Friends Meeting in Easton from 2 - 4 pm.  We will start our gathering at 2:00 pm with a potluck luncheon.  You are welcome to bring food to share; beverages will be provided.  During the dessert course, we will hear from our guest speaker, Dr. Clifford Coppersmith, President of Chesapeake College in Wye Mills.  Dr. Coppersmith will be speaking about public and higher education including the latest information on the Promise Scholarship program which provides up to $5,000 in tuition assistance to help eligible students attend one of Maryland's 16 public community colleges.  Afterward, we will conduct our annual business meeting.  

We encourage all of our members to attend and to bring guests.  We do ask that you RSVP here by April 5, 2019, letting us know of your intention to attend and the number of people coming with you so we can arrange the room to accommodate everyone.

This event is fee and open to the public; feel free to come for the entire meeting or simply to hear our speaker.  All are welcome!
